We believe every child should have the opportunity to create, compose, and perform, as well as to visit, experience, participate in and review extraordinary work.

Artsmark can help unlock the potential of children and young people, help to develop character and talent, and increase their knowledge and understanding.

That’s why Artsmark was created: to bring this ambition to life in every classroom.  Awarded by Arts Council England, designed by schools, the new Artsmark award will help schools to deliver a high quality arts and cultural education and provides an excellent way to demonstrate this.  Across the country Artsmark is rewarding more and more schools for championing arts and culture.  Any school setting can apply.

Artsmark schools gain access to exceptional resources as well as networks of the country’s most treasured cultural organisations, helping them develop and strengthen their arts provision.

This year we are aiming to apply for the Artsmark!

Challenge Hull 2017

We enjoyed participating in ‘Challenge Hull’ during the City of Culture Year 2017.
“We believe everyone is creative … are you ready for our weekly challenge?  No Limits, our learning programme, aims to discover the creativity hidden beneath the surface in our fantastic city. We have teamed up with 64 Million Artists and community groups and organisations across Hull to set a weekly creative challenge to encourage everyone in the city to try something new – Challenge Hull.  There’s no need to worry about perfection, it’s all about getting involved. Try writing, drawing, dancing, cooking, discovering, exploring, performing, photographing – there’s something for everyone.  Make the world a little more creative … one week at a time.”
